Garden #6
These shared gardens exemplify how careful thought and planning can yield a space that is both beautiful and functional. Originally
designed by Kia Micaud, (Catherine Micaud Landscape Architecture), the gardens followed the green construction
lead of the residences by incorporating sustainable elements such as permeable pavers and native perimeter plantings.
Within the central courtyard, the garden provides all season interest and privacy screening while giving each space
a unique feel. The complexity of the plant palette creates a rich tapestry, yet the easy care plants selected demonstrate how a garden
of this size need not be high maintenance. The cascading water feature, designed by Jeff Pryde, flowing the length of the central garden
not only effectively masks noise but also provides a stunning vista
for the surrounding residences.
A locally sourced lunch and beverages are available in
this garden.
