Garden #4

A classic Bainbridge Island garden steeped in local history. The property's agrarian roots are evident in the open pasture and rustic barn, remnants of a farm that was once the largest egg producer in Kitsap County. The current owners have built on the site's history preserving the handiwork of past gardeners. A variety of decades old trees surround the vintage 1919 home creating an arboretum like feel with wonderful examples of mature specimens. An enclosed potager keeps edibles safe from browsing deer with an antique bird bath original to the property serving as the centerpiece. Paths wind around the garden while an expansive patio provides ample outdoor living space in this bucolic oasis.
