1. Does my General Adult ticket allow me to go on Saturday or Sunday?
You can view the gardens your way! You can view the gardens on either Saturday and/or Sunday, or split them and do a little each day. You choose. There is a one-time admission to each garden. Buses make continual runs throughout the day coming to each garden. Stay as little or as long as you wish in each garden. Please be advised that we experience the biggest numbers of tour guests Saturday morning.
2. How should I dress?
This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress weather appropriate and wear comfortable walking shoes. We suggest fanny packs/backpacks in lieu of heavy purses.
3. How do I get more information about the plants I see on the tour?
Master Gardeners will be on-site to answer plant questions. Garden docents will also be in each garden to offer assistance.
4. When is the first and last shuttle from the Bainbridge ferry dock?
Kitsap Transit buses provides free transportation throughout the weekend on a streamlined route, using the largest and most luxurious vehicles in their fleet. Service is provided between the ferry terminal and the transportation hub, with drop-offs along Winslow Way on all return trips to the ferry terminal. No personal vehicles are allowed at the gardens on Saturday and Sunday.
Kitsap Transit will be at the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal to meet the ferries departing Seattle 8:45-12:20pm. Buses will return to the ferry terminal throughout the day from the Festival Site, and will make two stops on Winslow Way. Final departure from Festival Site is 5:30 pm.
5. Can I bring my pet?
For your Safety and Comfort: Please leave pets at home.
6. What are the restroom facilities?
Port-a-potties are available in each garden. Restrooms are available at the Festival Site and will be located with signage.
7. How much are the tickets for children under 6 years?
Children under age 12 are $10 per child.
8. How do I get tickets that I purchased online?
Tickets purchased online are Will Call if purchased on
or after July 6, 2007. Will Call Tickets are available
for pick-up at the Festival Site at the High School on
the days of the event.
If you purchased online tickets before July 6th, tickets
were mailed. If you have not received tickets ordered
online before July 6th, call BIAHC for ticket status
