Weed Warriors
Baffled by broom? Bewildered by blackberries? With a
little diligence and a few good tools, you too can rid
your garden beds of these and other invasive green monsters.
The Bainbridge Island Weed Warriors, in conjunction
with the Kitsap County Noxious Weed Coordinator and
Weed Advisory Board, will answer your thorny questions,
provide informative handouts on all kinds of rampant
intruders, and demonstrate how the students, parents
and staff at Voyager Montessori rid a large area of
the broom and blackberries that once thrived on the
school grounds.
