Bainbridge in Bloom Patron Preview & Party

Patron Preview Party. photo: courtesy Maple Leaf Design

It's a great way to support the Bainbridge Island Arts and Humanities Council and preview the gardens before the weekend event.

Last year's Patron Preview was a sell-out success, so we're bringing it back again this year, by popular demand. As a special fundraiser, a limited number of Patron level tickets will be sold for an afternoon private showing of the gardens, complete with access to the garden owners who are more than happy to answer questions about their gardens. Following the day of touring, enjoy an evening cocktail party featuring gardening celebrities sponsored by Mutual Materials.

Patrons receive an artist signed 2002 Garden Tour poster and are recognized with a listing of their names in the gardens. The package of two tickets at the Patron level is $300 and may be used all weekend for unlimited access to the gardens.

At each garden Patrons are greeted by garden hosts and garden owners who are available to answer questions.

Patron Preview & Party Summary

Patron Preview & Party - $300.00 (two tickets) includes:

  • After finishing Friday's private tour, Patrons will enjoy a fabulous cocktail party in the coastal garden (complete with a spectacular city view) of Tanya Lundgaard. At the cocktail gathering, Patrons will be joined by some of the Northwest's most celebrated garden experts, garden designers and the tour's garden owners.

  • As for the food at our Patron Cocktail Party….We are excited to present a sumptuous selection from Baci Catering, whose accolades include serving as the exclusive caterer for the Henry Art Gallery and as the preferred caterer for the Herbfarm Restaurant, Chez Shea Restaurant, the Paramount Theatre and the Smith Tower Chinese Room. Baci's focus is on hand-crafted, sustainable and organic foods utilizing local produce, cheeses, etc.

  • Patrons will also receive a 2002 Bainbridge in Bloom poster signed by artist Anne Strandoo, who will also be at the party. Ms. Strandoo's original poster art will be displayed at the party and available for silent auction purchase with proceeds going to the BIAHC.

  • All Patrons will be recognized by name at each of the six gardens.
